Description

Pupils explore what role financial systems play in our communities, they consider what personal responsibility they have for financial planning and what role government plays in this, focussing on the impact our ageing population has on financial planning.

In this unit pupils take their existing knowledge on personal and public finances and consider how our financial systems are responding to the changing population and the impact this is having. The unit builds on knowledge of both personal and government spending and encourages students to think critically about spending responsibilities across society.
