Description

This unit consolidates previous learning of -re and -ir verbs with a wide range of known vocabulary. Pupils also reviste comparative adjectives and adverbs, and adjective positioning.

In this unit, pupils embed known vocabulary and grammar as they revisit -re and -ir verbs in the present tense. Pupils apply previous knowledge on adjective agreement and placement and comparatives together with their considerable verb lexicon to the new context of the environment and discussion of eco-friendly options.

  • Pupils know that adjectives must agree in number and gender with the nouns they are describing.
  • Pupils know that many adjectives come after the noun but some precede the noun.

  • Pupils know how to conjugtae -ir verbs like choisir, sortir, and venir in the present tense.
  • Pupils know how to use the comparative with adjectives and adverbs.
  • Pupils can recognise, write and pronounce a wide range of sounds.
