Description

In this unit, pupils use 'aller' plus infinitive to express future intentions for weekend and holiday plans. Knowledge of negation is extended to include two-verb structures and inversion questions are practised in two-verb structures. The SSCS qu and j are revisited.

In this unit pupils continue to expand their verb lexicon and knowledge of two-verb structures. The irregular verb 'partir' is introduced as pupils discuss holiday plans. 'Aller' plus infinitive is introduced as pupils express their future intentions. Negation and inversion questions are also revisited, this time with two-verb structures so that pupils can extend their knowledge of these structures with a future tense.

  1. Future intentions: 'aller' + infinitive
  2. What people are not going to do: negation with two-verb structures
