Description

This unit focuses on consolidating the present tense and past participles of regular verbs and examines the use of the passive voice in the context of a Francophone film.

In this unit pupils will develop their film vocabulary knowledge beyond media topics covered at KS3 and earlier in KS4, learning to describe themes, action and characters and build up to writing a review of a film. To this end they will further secure their knowledge of present and past tense regular verbs and will also begin to explore the use of the passive voice. Both the theme and grammar of this unit are good preparation for future learning beyond KS4 for those students keen to continue in their language learning.

  1. Le langage cinématographique : past participles of regular verbs
