Description

Pupils revisit two-verb structures in the present tense as they talk of decisions for their future. They apply verbs with à and de before an infinitive, the question word quel and demonstrative adjective ce,cet, cette, ces. Impersonal verbs with adjectives + de, and weather expressions are practised.

In this unit, pupils apply known and new vocabulary and grammar to longer texts, conversations and writing tasks as they discuss decisions about their future and universal experiences. Two-verb structures are embedded in different context and pupils extend their verb lexicon and communicative range by using verbs with à and de before an infinitive. A range of impersonal phrases with adjectives and de, including weather expressions, give pupils greater range, flexibility and variety in communicating and giving opinions in a range of contexts.
