Description

Pupils revisit present and perfect tenses, two verb structures after aller, aimer and modal verbs and inversion questions in single and two-verb structures. The verb croire is introduced in singular persons, and feminine and plural noun formation and possessive adjectives are revised and extended.

In this unit, pupils embed known grammar structures and present and past tenses with known and new vocabulary in describing travel in France, and learning about Senegal. Two verb structures are consolidated, along with feminine and plural noun formation rules. Pupils expand their competence in expressing opinions with the verb croire in singular form and the use of adjectives as nouns. Cultural depth is provided as students understand religions in French speaking countries.

  1. Travel in France: infinitive used as a noun
  2. Travel in France: more infinitive uses
  3. Religion in Francophonie: singular 'croire', adjectives used as nouns
  4. Religion in Francophonie: feminine and plural nouns
  5. At a hotel: possessives 'votre', 'vos'
  6. At a restaurant: possessives 'leur', 'leurs'
