Keywords

Common misconception
Pupils may mistake 'rolling' for a verb and misuse it in a sentence in this lesson.
Model using 'rolling' in a sentence as an adjective and as a verb. Compare the difference.
Teacher tip
You could begin the lesson with a discussion about the differences between the countryside and cities and what the features of the countryside are. Ask pupils to generate adjectives to describe the countryside before introducing the new vocabulary.
