Common misconception

Non-infectious diseases such as heart disease can be passed from person to person.

Only infectious diseases caused by pathogens can spread from person to person.

Coronary heart disease is when blood flow to the heart is restricted. A stroke is when blood flow to the brain is restricted. Cancer is when a cell in the body divides uncontrollably and forms a tumour. Type II diabetes is the lack of blood sugar control.
