Jonathan Dando-Laing

Jonathan is a co-founder of Oak, helping establish the organisation in the pandemic in 2020 before guiding it to become an arm’s length body of the Department for Education. He is responsible for school support, communications, partnerships, external relations, policy and organisational strategy.

Previously he worked for seven years at the education charity Teach First, including as Director of Marketing and Communications, overseeing activities to attract thousands of new teachers into the profession. He’s also led government relations and funding work at education-focused charities, The Prince’s Trust and VSO.
