Description

This unit develops pupils’ ability to draw expressively and imaginatively in a range of media. They will investigate how and why artists create their art, before designing and sculpting an imaginary paradise island either individually or collaboratively.

This unit builds on skills being developed in other areas of the curriculum such as direction, distance, position and shapes in maths, and using maps, direction, aerial and plan perspectives in geography.

  3. Invent a collaborative paradise island
  4. Construct a paradise island base
  5. Make a papier-maché paradise island
  6. Decorate a papier-mâché paradise island
