Description

This unit will examine the life and work of Frank Bowling, in particular his map paintings. Pupils will make art that represents movement, using stencil and painting techniques and be inspired by the life and work of Bowling.

Pupils have already studied the work of artists and makers, in this unit they deepen their understanding of how artists work in studio spaces and where they get their ideas from. Pupils use their own ideas and experiences to make their own map paintings.
