Common misconception

Cognates are always pronounced the same way in English and French.

Cognates can often sound very different in French due to pronunciation rules. Students must be careful to learn the correct French pronunciation of cognates.

Task C1 has two options. Option 1 is a Higher Tier version of a role-play. Option 2 is a Foundation Tier version of a role-play. Option 1 is included in the video.
