Common misconception
Plural adjectival nouns always end in '-en'.
All plural adjectival nouns preceded by 'die' and all in the dative end in '-en', but for plural adjectival nouns without articles, use '-e' in the nominative and accusative.
Learning Cycle 1 covers Higher-tier grammar. However, all pupils will gain substantial communicative value from adding the most common abstract neuter adjectival nouns to their repertoire, e.g., 'das Gute', 'das Beste'.
