Common misconception
As most of these words have a similar meaning, pupils answers may vary in Task C, question 9.
Explain to pupils that there is more than one option that can work in each sentence. The word maps from previous tasks might help them to find the best answers.
Start the lesson by showing pupils short clips of different things running. For example, a person sprinting in a race, a mouse running across the floor, a tiger running after its prey. Ask the pupils how they might describe the action, using any other word than 'running'.
