Common misconception
The French for 'the Internet' is 'l'Internet'.
In common usage, the Internet is translated as 'internet' in French. It does not require a capital letter as it counts as a common noun. It is one of very few common nouns that doesn't require a determiner in common usage.
Teacher tip
There are brief references to French transport websites in the lesson. Teachers may wish to explore these sites with students to give them real-world experience of dealing with French language websites, although it would be necessary to select the French language versions.
