Faith Family Clip 1
Key Stage 1
Year 1
Religious education
I'm Wayne, and I'm the vicar of a church. <v ->And I'm Wendy, and I'm married to Wayne,</v> and I also work for the same church. <v ->And we have a family. </v> <v ->Yeah, we've got three children. </v> They're all teenagers now, so they're bigger than they were. But we also have extended families. Wayne's actually not even from the UK, but my family are all from the UK. And I have aunts, and uncles, and cousins, and sisters who I see at different times. <v ->And so do I. </v> So we have our family and then we have our bigger families that we're part of, but we're also part of a church family, our faith family. <v ->Yeah. </v> So we believe in the Bible it says, it talks about being included into God's family when we follow Jesus. So we follow Jesus. And then in our faith family, a load of people, some of them are at the church that we go to but they're all over Bristol and actually all over the world. <v ->And unlike our actual families,</v> our faith family's full of people who don't look like us and are very, very different to us. But because of our love for Jesus and our desire to follow his teachings, and we choose to live life together to build community, to make friendships, and to do things together as one big faith family.
