Pupils often don't see the value in editing work and think once the first draft is finished, the work on it is done.
Writing is a process that involves multiple stages. Revising and editing are crucial steps to refine your work, enhance clarity, and improve overall quality. Even professional writers revise their drafts several times before publishing.

This lesson requires pupils to have planned for the written task in the previous lesson. If any pupils haven't planned the task you will want to build in time during LC1 to allow them to do so before completing the written task in LC2.
