      Lesson details

      Learning outcome

Vocabulary and transcripts for this lessons

      Key learning points

      1. [oi] is pronounced as in 'voir'. [oin] is pronounced as in 'besoin'. [oin] is nasal only when followed by a consonant.
      2. Indefinite adjectives go before the noun they describe. Tout le agrees in number/gender. Chaque/plusieurs don't change.
      3. Même/autre agree in number. Quelques is an indefinite ajective meaning some. It agrees in number, so is usually plural.

      Keywords

      • Indefinite adjective - describes a noun in a non-specific sense e.g. some, even, each

      Common misconception

Indefinite adjectives always agree in number and gender.

'Tout le' agrees in number and gender but 'même', 'autre' and 'quelque' agree in number only. 'Chaque' and 'plusieurs' do not change.

      Teacher tip

You could use extracts from the novel Kiffe kiffe demain, to enhance the lesson, for example when Doria and her mother visit the Eiffel tower. There are many other poems and songs about Paris that you could also use or even a Paris quiz.
