Common misconception
It isn't important to answer both bullet points in the longer writing task equally.
Students should plan carefully to address both bullet points in an equal manner, giving detailed answers and using a rich selection of language. Using the BORDER acronym helps students to fully answer the task.
Teacher tip
Students might wish to give their partner a vocabulary test at the end of the first cycle and give them feedback on how well they can recall French vocabulary.
