Explain that you can be a tourist abroad or in your home country. You could sensitively discuss learners' own experiences of going on holiday.
Teacher tip
Role play a holiday to Jamaica! Hand out flight tickets, arrange the chairs to create an aeroplane and then set up different holiday activities around the classroom. You could have some Caribbean food and music; and photographs of different tourist destinations and activities in Jamaica!
