      • Verb clause - part of a sentence that contains a subject and a verb

      Common misconception

Like in a role-play, I should keep my answers short and concise in a conversation.

Conversation answers should be developed and extended with at least three verb clauses.

      Teacher tip

Teachers may choose to give students preparation time for all of the exam-style tasks across the three cycles, either in class or at home, and then embark on an exam-style scenario 1:1, in pairs, or rehearse as a class.
