Description

In this unit pupils will examine the role of music and dance within Christianity, Muslim and Hindu worldviews. They will investigate the concept of spirituality and make connections between worldviews as well as seeing important differences. They will consider the role of silence within worldviews.

This unit comes at the end of Year 3 as pupils will have a grounding in the worldviews they have studied. This important knowledge will enable them to investigate the idea of spirituality with understanding. It is important for pupils to see that many worldviews look beyond texts for meaning, but also that attitudes are diverse and contested.
