It takes knowledge and practice to avoid inappropriate or offensive content online. Young people often lack the skills to make those choices independently. Children need to be guided by positive role models to make healthy choices.

Create space for young people to share their excitement and fascination with the online space to ensure that you open up conversations. Include the positive sides of the online world as well as the negative.
