Description

This unit explores maintaining control when online. Pupils learn to use personal power online responsibly, respond to online harassment, protect financial security, and recognise risks of harmful online groups and radicalisation whilst accessing appropriate support.

As Year 11 pupils mature, they require an understanding of online control, digital identity and safety. This unit addresses using personal power responsibly online, responding to harassment, protecting financial security, and recognising radicalisation. At this stage, pupils face increased independence, making it important they maintain control over their digital presence, protect themselves from exploitation and harm, and know when and how to access appropriate support.
