Physical health: How can physical health affect others?

Description

This unit explores different aspects of physical health. Pupils learn about living with chronic illness, and understand the science of organ and blood donation.

As Year 10 pupils mature, they develop a greater awareness of their physical health and the health and wellbeing of those around them. This unit builds on personal health knowledge by exploring organ and blood donation, as well as chronic illness. At this stage, pupils can understand more complex health conditions and the decisions relating to them.
