Pupils have previously explored ways to reclaim and recycle materials. They will apply their knowledge and skills to realise more elaborate design ideas in three dimensions. Pupils will need to manipulate found materials to their intentions, and refine and realise their ideas with increasing purpose and sophistication.

Recycled robots: drawing and sculpture
In this unit, pupils design and make a robot using recycled materials. They will investigate robots in film and TV, and create their own recycled robot using construction techniques.
