Building on secure knowledge of singular present -er verbs, this unit introduces 2-verb structures with 'aimer' to like. Further increasing pupils' communicative repertoire, this unit adds plural definite article 'les' to pupils' prior knowledge of singular 'le' and 'la' and introduces two new sounds -tion and r. Towards the end of the unit, pupils bring together prior knowledge and new learning to write a short message, making use of reference resources to personalise their work.
