Description

This unit explores skillful movement and physical fitness through teamwork challenges. Pupils will develop teamwork skills and understand both why and how to warm up for different types of physical activity.

At primary school, pupils are introduced to basic outdoor and adventurous activities (OAA), teamwork, and fitness challenges. This unit at the start of secondary school levels the playing field for those with less exposure to competitive sports and helps everyone feel they belong in PE.
