Description

This unit will develop pupils’ ability to perform in a range of athletic events with a focus on personal best improvements. They will learn about different components of fitness and the difference between aerobic and anaerobic exercise. Pupils will take responsibility for working in small teams.

Pupils will already have developed the necessary core techniques for different running, jumping and throwing events. After they train to improve different aspects of fitness, pupils will contribute towards the performance of their team as they grow in confidence and challenge themselves to improve further.
