Description

This unit will explore parkour with a focus on safety, fun and gradual skill development. Pupils will build their confidence and creativity tackling increasingly complex movements to include landing, rolling and precision jumps utilising a range of equipment and apparatus.

They will already be able to set up apparatus safely and recognise the importance of practising within their limits. Later in gymnastics they will apply these skills in trampolining with a focus on aesthetic appreciation and linking controlled movements.
